After digging in, stay away from @Toyota . I’ve experienced first hand their customer support and their sales folks. This is day 1 of trying to quickly resolve a problem of the lemon they sold me. They’re having issues. I’ll keep anyone interested up to date @Toyota #ToyotaProblems #CustomerServiceFail”
Issues that have been reported thus far on Toyota 2025! Vehicles
Transmission Issues: Some owners have reported rough or delayed shifting, hesitation during acceleration, and occasional resetting of tow/haul mode. These issues are similar to those noted in early 2024 models, where a technical service bulletin (TSB) addressed faulty eight-speed automatic transmissions, though this was specific to certain VINs. The 2025 model’s transmission problems appear less widespread, but concerns linger due to the shared powertrain with the 2024 model.
• Engine Performance: The new 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine (available in i-Force and i-Force Max hybrid configurations) has mixed feedback. Reports mention turbo lag, inconsistent throttle response, and jerky transitions between electric and gas modes in hybrids. However, no significant mechanical failures or recalls have been issued for the engine as of now.
• Electrical System Problems: Early reports highlight electrical issues, such as infotainment malfunctions and occasional power abnormality messages, though these are not yet widespread.
• Brake System: A recall (NHTSA Campaign Number 25V-058) affects certain 2024-2025 Tacoma 4-wheel-drive models with 16-inch brakes and 17-inch wheels, due to rear brake hoses potentially leaking from mud buildup. This could impact some 2025 models, though it’s specific to off-road conditions.
• Other Minor Complaints: Some owners note limited rear legroom, thin paint, and high liftover height, though these are more personal preferences than widespread defects.

@Toyota#ToyotaProblems#CustomerServiceFail after 5 hours I got no where. Well not no where, after talking to a machine I finally got to a person. Then they forwarded me to a machine again. But after that machine it forwarded me to a person that forwarded me to a person that forwarded me to a machine.
