@ryanflorence Yeah! Also, very little of that webpack knowledge is really portable - we change build systems every couple of years, and the hard-won config lessons just don’t really pay dividends compared to getting better at the basics.
Ignoring the title, this is a great read on how current sanctions fit with those deployed in the past, what’s working and what isn’t, and what’s coming.

Great thread. Interesting that as forecasts improve, the cone gets skinnier, which potentially makes misinterpreting it as “impacted area” instead of “possible *center* locations” even more dangerous.
One aspect potentially lost in translation with Hurricane Ian is that the NHC cone represents historical *location* errors - it does *not* denote where impacts are expected.
If the hurricane tracks on the edge of the cone, severe impacts will be felt well outside of it.
@Wojball@michaeljburry I got you: Assuming we’re in something like the dotcom bust, he’s saying we’re at the stage where value-ish companies (that prioritize cash flow) begin to recover, while momentum (meme stocks) and “the best companies” (apple, etc) have more declines ahead
Obv, grain of salt reqd
@RelayFramework out of curiosity - why isn't a missing field handler for node(id) enabled by default? It seems like Relay is pretty Node-aware already, and this must be a common need for folks issuing node(id) queries. Is the issue that the field/arg names may be different?
Highest-res drone footage of the Andover, KS #tornado which has received a preliminary rating of EF3. Note how the tornado propagates via vortex dynamics and likely terrain. Incredibly, no lives were lost by this tornado
Bucha. I never heard the name of this Ukrainian town until 16 hours ago, but I’ll never forget it for rest of my life. Hurts to confront these photos, but we cannot grow numb to this brutality. What we see isn’t just a massacre, it is a failure of “never again.” THREAD(Graphic)
Highly recommend this list if you’re looking to keep up with what’s going on in Ukraine. It’s a firehose, and use your judgment about any brand-new/unconfirmed info, but it’s been indispensable over the last few days.
Kudos to @jonostrower!

It seems hard to believe that Russia was expecting to take Ukraine without significant bloodshed, a la Crimea.
Massively stupid if true.
Encouraged by the spirited defense that 🇺🇦 has mounted so far. They’re still outmatched, but they’re punching well above weight class.
