@JuneStar519195 Number 1, that’s a Embraer 175 so you aren’t on American mainline but a regional carrier contracted to American. Number 2, probably for the best. People do unspeakable things with tray tables that no one should ever use them for anything, especially eating.

@SouthwestAir I swear the replies on all airlines twitter accounts are bots / AI. A real person would have commented on a $49,000 ticket price for a 1.5 to 2 hr flight from SAN to SJC. The whole airline is a hollow shell of its former self. Herb Kelleher would be ashamed.

@OmniscientWon ATC has a mandatory retirement age of 56. Reagan fired like 13000 controllers, hired immediately like 11500 controllers. Every controller hired in the immediate aftermath would have aged out by early 2010s. Not sure where the blame is here for this since it wouldn’t impact today

@Smith56351Allan @erios2k Every job I’ve worked at in the states you have 24 hrs to report work place injuries to management. He was maybe gone for 2 or 3. You can’t be fired for seeking medical help for a workplace injury which is what happened in the video.

@Smith56351Allan Not sure where you live but in the united states if you get injured at work and go to the hospital, if the company fires you for an “unauthorized break” while seeking medical attention the lawsuits would be through the roof. It’s illegal on several levels

BDO’s story is unmemorable in basically every way and is more of an irritant than anything else, even after the like 6 overhauls. The latest version is okay compared to the older versions of the story but it’s not a high bar to begin with.
