today im sharing my small research on @shiftprotocol_ . if you have some stables sitting idle then you should know about this.
what is shift protocol?
shift protocol is a defi platform that helps you earn money from crypto trading without actually trading yourself.
you deposit usdc the system does automatic trading & you earn steady returns.
how it works
professional traders make money from something called funding rates on perpetual exchanges. shift protocol automates this strategy for non traders.
when traders use leverage they pay fees every few hours. these fees are called funding rates. shift protocol collects these fees for you.
you dont need to understand complicated trading. just deposit money, earn money & chill.
what is vault system?
vault system is a smart contract where you deposit your money. it automatically runs trading strategies. each vault has different strategies like delta neutral market making, basis trades and providing liquidity on perpetual dex. the system keeps watching markets and adjusts positions so you get yield and your investment stays safe.
what is delta neutral strategy? lets explain...
simply delta neutral means you make money whether prices go up or down.
think of it like this example, you own 1 btc in spot position and also bet 1 btc against your spot position at the same time and same price. if price goes up you win on one side. if price goes down you win on the other side. it means you stay neutral.
shift protocol uses this to collect fees without price risk.
what is the paradex vault?
shift protocol first vault is on base network using @paradex.
atm it offers around 19% yearly returns on usdc deposits.
base network has very low fees. paradex has fast trading. together they make the strategy work efficiently.
how to deposit into paradex vault?
right now no vault is live. when it opens the steps will be simple,
connect your wallet. deposit usdc. choose a vault. start earning. thats it.

you earn points by depositing usdc in shift vaults.
bigger deposits earn more points. keeping money longer earns more points.
