@tourscotland Clan tartans as we know them now did not exist at that point, clansmen would show allegiance by what was worn on their bonnets...the act also did not outlaw tartan, but the wearing of it by men or boys as part of the Highland dress(with the exception of the Highland regiments)

@se_kip I had an experience sitting through a class where this tech was in play(I accessed remotely). It was a seminar and in my mind it was very challenging as a student. 100% encourage you to try this from a student perspective through observation if possible.lots of challenges!
