@DearBlueEarth You have what is called "central heterochromia;" which is having two eye colors, but they are blended in a ring fashion, rather than each eye being a different color. Both my husband (7 on chart, his is more pronounced), and I have this (10 on chart).

@RuthWobbles I'm so sorry; the only way through it is through it. And you will always miss him. But after a while, you get used to that chasm of grief. You don't get over it, but you do get used to it. It doesn't hurt as bad after a while. This quote gave me some comfort, though.
