@KomalShah4 Sloppiness in contracting and documentation is inexcusable. The cost cutting mentality means these businesses never hire the professional help they need in finance or legal. Penny wise pound foolish.
@DoctorLemma AI Bros: Let me train an LLM and a tool for that…
ROTW: All Hoos musician jobs are at risk…
VC: I am raising my price target for the Anthropic IPO…
@darshitpatel84 Why would anyone want to do that? Our $300bn IT industry is facing catastrophe, the tech world is changing at a dizzying pace, geopolitics is upending the global order, millions of Indians in the gulf are in a limbo, and we should 'truly understand Bollywood'?
@Iyervval@AxisBank 15-min account opening is quite impressive. In the US, a small business might not be able to open an account at all. The sole reason Silicon Valley Bank became so big was that no bank was willing to open startups' accounts. All banks drag their feet on closing. Sort of normal.
The world is focused on oil prices. But hiding behind the energy headlines is a potentially larger crisis: close to 50% of global nitrogen fertilizer supply is linked to the Persian Gulf. Millions will risk hunger if we don't find a resolution soon.

The problem we have is that every time we move one step forward, people pick up first world problems and block it. Way to go.

2/n Every year, we get floods in one part of the country and shortage of water in another. Why? Because we don't have 100s of billions that it takes to build a proper water network. The country you are picking up your arguments from blew up a mountain and reversed the flow...
@Broufus Yes, we should not build anything at all. Just be consumers.
That's exactly what the British made us do. And made us the richest country from the poorest on the planet.
Oh wait, was it the other way around?
AI has the potential to help India solve a problem that previous tech transformations couldn't - low productivity at the bottom end of the economy. This could be the key to taking our growth from 6-7% band to 10% before our demographic advantage runs out.

@rohanpaul_ai To match the full processing power and general capabilities of this 20W hardware, how much do your require in a machine? 1MW, 10MW?
The human brain is still the most powerful computer on a per watt basis by multiple orders of magnitude.
@JessePeltan A big chunk of Chinese GDP comes from investments. You need to compare exports to domestic consumption, not GDP.
Likewise, a lot of Chinese exports end up in the US via third countries.
If you trace all the linkages, the dependency is higher than this number suggests.
@karpathy The most cogent and brilliant exposition out there on how machine intelligence differs from human, and how our urge to 'humanize' everything is unnecessarily muddying the waters. Prime example is the obsession with humanoid robots.
