@tropicaltrader7 can you answer a question for me? So you have to own a stock between the Ex-dividend and the dividend date, yeah? Does that mean (let's take $JEPI for example) I can buy the day before the Ex date [5/31] and sell 5 days later and collect %100 of the dividend?

@tropicaltrader7 I have the understanding that if you think something is going sideways you should earn a premium instead of when you think a stock is going up for a covered call. If you think a stock is going up just hold for the returns. $jepi is the other one i was thinking of.
