Manage it from the bar instead of config.toml: switch models, turn on GPU, add vocabulary so it gets your own terms right, and dictionary rules so saying "slash commit" types /commit into your agent prompt.

In an internship talk, a manager asked what happens when AI gets more expensive.

Price per token is the wrong number. Anthropic says Opus 5.5 works at Fable 5.1 level, 3 weeks later, for $4/$20 instead of $10/$50.

Intelligence keeps getting cheaper. Run more agents, not fewer.

That will put you in the latest versions of software when they release (you will get the update icon on the top bar next to time, also running omarchy-update in terminal will update all), by default it's a 1 month gap for stability

There is a plugin section on the website you can find some useful stuff in there for AirPods control etc.

If you don't know somthing just ask the agent with the /omarchy skill that helps them understand where files are located.

When you want to update stuff also tell your agent to use /omarchy so he changes the configurations in the correct files so future updates don't touch it

When somthing doesn't work like you expect also just ask the agent 😂, anything can be fixed.

Once you get the hang of the window manager it will be hard to drag widnows around again on Mac or windows.

I have multiple gateways connected to my desktop app, all on my own devices. My primary gateway uses a username/password login, and it was generating a new signing key on every backend restart, which logged me out.

Left a Hermes /goal running overnight. When I woke up, it showed 20/20 and I thought it had finished. Turns out it had just used all its turns. I didn’t realise I could type /goal resume, and there wasn’t a Resume button in Desktop.

@Teknium could an optional review at that point check whether it’s still making progress and give it another batch of turns? If not, keep it paused with a visible Resume button.

I know the turn limit can be increased. This is about deciding whether to continue when it’s reached.

I integrated @jankeesvw’s Omarchy VM work into Realms, a plugin I’m building for Hermes Desktop. Parallel agents can each use their own VM to build and test Omarchy plugins or software. I can watch their desktops or take over when needed, without them taking over mine.
