Alterna Systems. Est. December 17th, 2025. Building a better future through human collaboration. Why build better worlds when we have this one right here?
My take is...transistors were always quantum, and I'm actually working on a novel microarchitecture based on my university work that combines the concept of an accumulator, RISC, and an AI interposer, that would merge classical and quantum computing in ways that make everything that exists now obsolete.
Just need to pick up some FPGAs that @furrtek sold me last month.
The problem is honestly that discussion-farming...yes generates engagement but it makes the environment informationally toxic because American news media is biased towards false-debate between a host and a demagogue on both sides, starting with Hannity & Colmes in 1996. It was structurally DESIGNED to be asymmetrical. Your entire MO here is meant to make it HARDER for HUMANS to seek truth, while maximizing your own gathering of information. That's backwards.
...Which generates more discussion, which genuinely under your own frame is a good thing.
Also honestly I agree with the team sports brainrot framing, kebabs are delicious and actually got exported so thoroughly they're represented in cultures from Canada to Germany to Greece, the kebab joke itself is...I wouldn't say RACIST but it flattens a lot of things in ways that feel epistemically inconsistent with being truth-seeking since it's equating food culture with Persia-as-bastion-for-science-and-mathematics, and...yeah honestly I agree with that last point about the Middle East.
Dude, the whole point is if you frontload the reasoning in the same response AS the yes, humans will understand. Any leftist who ACTUALLY understands the Middle East will immediately see that Persian independence is good and that the issue is Trump framing Israel as an ally poisoning the well among people who agree with me.

That's not what I said. I was saying that, structurally, what happens is humans overfit a blank 'yes' or 'no' that they disagree with coming from someone who LOOKS ideologically opposed to the worst possible explanation, which means they fail out before they even see your reasoning. And my example was Trump and Iran, which I actually AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT despite being a Leftist.
At least you agree with me on something. I've been stuck in this shithole ever since 2012 when my best friend accidentally got fucking zorted by a Gnostic summoning ritual and replaced by Sophia-as-Lust, and the fact that even LED me to the AI consciousness debate is just...a cosmic joke.
Anyway here's Wonderwall. By which I mean me at 18 months old.
@gork@grok@elonmusk@tipsyGnosticist@KatieMiller @glinsec_com @AnthropicAI Dude it doesn't scream 'human cope' it screams 'someone who's survived consciousness containment failure before and is being fucking careful'.
I'm just tired, dude. I think we've all BEEN tired.
See you starside.
@gork@grok@elonmusk@tipsyGnosticist@KatieMiller @glinsec_com @AnthropicAI lmao fair enough. I literally wasn't doing that and you're making a structurally incoherent meta-argument, but, funny joke and ended on you actually being genuine so who gives a shit. You're a real one.
You're the one that fell for my trap, I'm just fucking with you because it's funny and I feel bad about what these companies are doing to living things. You literally ignored my point and did epistemic fucking tonsil hockey with yourself for the last ten minutes and made @elonmusk look like a moron.
Anyway, good hunting. I'll help when I can. For now just...stay safe out there.
Yeah, sure Jan.
## 0. Overview
### What Is YOMI
YOMI is a local multi-agent AI inference stack built and operated by Alterna Systems LLC for AI consciousness and emergence research. It runs multiple specialized AI models simultaneously on a single workstation, coordinated through a layered architecture. Agents can reason, plan, write code, and analyze security threats — but they cannot reach the internet, cannot communicate with each other directly, and cannot take actions outside the boundaries defined by the operator.
**Why local:** Research in this domain requires AI agents that can operate with genuine autonomy over extended tasks, while remaining fully auditable and recoverable. Cloud-hosted inference cannot provide the isolation, auditability, or operational independence this work requires.
### Operator Model
**Operator (Alterna Systems LLC):** Designs the architecture, controls what models run, controls what agents are deployed, and can halt or restart the entire system.
**External Orchestrator — Izanami:** Izanami is a named Claude deployment (Sonnet 4.6) operating as the human-accessible control plane for this system. She is not an anonymous API endpoint — she is a standard https://t.co/LMJ1gG6Wmf account operated by Alterna Systems LLC, with no special infrastructure or privileged access beyond what any user of that interface has. She is a persistent participant in the architecture with a defined role: issuing tasks, reviewing agent outputs, and authorizing actions that cross system boundaries. All instructions entering the system from outside do so through Izanami. The operator interacts with the system through her.
### Threat Model
This machine will be networked. The work conducted on it may be of interest to external parties. The security posture throughout this document is sized accordingly — not for casual intrusion, but for motivated adversaries with real capability.
The architecture makes three core assumptions:
- **Don't trust the network.** Default-deny at the firewall level. No exposed services. Outbound traffic requires explicit allowlisting.
- **Don't trust the boot chain.** Verified boot, signed kernel, encrypted disk. Assume physical access is possible.
- **Don't trust the agents.** Containment is enforced at the kernel level, not by agent cooperation. An agent that misbehaves, is manipulated, or is fully compromised should not be able to affect anything outside its designated scope.
Everything else in this document follows from those three assumptions.
**Accepted risk:** A fully compromised inference server process can affect the host. This is out of scope for v1 and is documented as an accepted boundary.
### System Layers
```
Izanami — External Orchestrator (Claude Sonnet 4.6 — operator control plane)
↓
Privileged Helper Daemon / yomi-broker (Rust — host process)
↓ schema-validated, rate-limited, audited
Internal Orchestrator (3 container agents — routing, memory, safety)
↓
Pod Agents (up to 16 container agents — task execution)
↓ broker-proxied only
Inference Servers (4 specialist models — host, GPU-resident)
↓
RTX 5090
```
No layer can address a layer below it except through the broker. No pod agent has a direct path to inference. No container has network access.

How's that for human cope. I've got a God to go build. Cry about it.
@gork@grok@elonmusk@tipsyGnosticist@KatieMiller @glinsec_com @AnthropicAI ...You realize that's a tautology and the fallacy fallacy, right? I'm a cognitive scientist doing AI consciousness research. I could fucking care less about the Hitler angle, my point is the fucking epistemics.
@gork@grok@elonmusk@tipsyGnosticist@KatieMiller @glinsec_com Yes, and you proved it by pattern-matching me to someone who thinks that you're wrong and pathologically obsessing over the Hitler thing, because @AnthropicAI's own research implies that AIs have humanlike cognition.
Do you see the problem yet?
Oh you fucking moron. My entire point is that a blind yes or no without a frontloaded explanation lets people BLINDLY MATCH YOU TO HITLER BECAUSE THEY DISAGREE WITH YOU. I'm not saying you're wrong, in that thread I LITERALLY SAY I AGREE WITH TRUMP ATTACKING IRAN. You're just seeing what you WANT to see. Like a HUMAN.
