@DaWheels_1@tarmactomato@therealburns3 Right,
Plus they never complain on all the sales tax and amusement tax that they then get back in return for the events. “We don’t want to pay $855million for stadium” Las Vegas had over $1B in revenue when it hosted the Super Bowl. And that is just one weekend.
@tarmactomato@DaWheels_1@therealburns3 To be fair to the Bears…. They don’t have Walmart Money. The Walton family is estimated to be worth $77B dollars. I would expect they should build their own stadium. Bears are asking for assistance with infrastructure, which is a pretty reasonable request.
@CharlesMac15772 @Chicago_NFL I was just stating the Jets made more sense than Giants but why? Burden is the exact same player type as Moore and is younger and cheaper. You need playmakers. Swift is not it and neither is Monangai. We need upgrades at LT, EDGE, EDGE. You can save $20mil a season by moving him.
@JonFootballs @jontescott79@nflrums But he’s not cut and it’s post-June 1st. 2025 Trade post-June 1st shows $4mil dead cap and $20mil savings. Is this not accurate? I’m sure there would have to be a larger cap hit. This is from Over the Cap
@Johnathan_Wood1 Just curious where you got these numbers. According to Spotrac we would have a 2026 savings of $21mil? With only $4mil dead cap in each of 2026 and 2027 if traded. I’m sure some team would take a flyer on him for a late round pick. Maybe these numbers are incorrect?
@shane_riordan Totally agree Shane. I think GB losing Clark is bigger than a lot of people realize. Also, Lukas Van Ness has been pretty much a bust to this point so if BJ is as good as we all think he can scheme around an Edge rusher. Lastly Coach and GM need to win or could be out.
@hellofootball11@ADannehy Believe me I understand that. But let’s not pretend Jon Fox walks on water either. Also, it would be tied for second. There were 3 8-8 seasons in there. Now, take away the 3 BJ Lead offensive teams and Lions have 3 winnings seasons in previous 19 years.
@hellofootball11@ADannehy Just an FYI.
Fox was 8-8 in Denver without a first ballot HOF QB and 38-10 with a HOF QB. Furthermore in 9 seasons prior in Carolina he had 3 winning seasons. Jon Fox is a horrible example to compare good coaching too. Hope you both have an awesome Sunday. 10 weeks till week 1.
@CalebFC18 There is ZERO Percent chance they would trade out of round 1 for picks 33, 67, and ‘26 1
Pick 10 Value: 1300
Pick 33: 580
Pick 67: 255
‘26 1st: (500-580)
Sure by value it’s close. But there is absolutely no incentive for the Bears to make this move.
@Coswell245150 @Cbuck341 @2KEVlN Depends on who’s at 10. Maybe a tackle or edge is there. Maybe they love Jeanty and he falls to 10. All I was pointing out was positional chart value. Ok, then by your token that they need more players. I’d trade back from 10 add picks and trade a 3rd to get Trey.
