@bchydro Why have a "live chat" that only generates auto responses? Useless ones at that. I'm trying to report a potential safety concern, but you guys do NOT make it easy. I suppose I'll just wait for it to turn into an outage or start a fire??

@j_mcelroy At the end of the day, regardless of how heated a meeting gets, any couple members of Council ought to be able to go sit down for coffee or a beer. Communication is key in this work.

@j_mcelroy As someone who is in both municipal politics and retail, the other comments made about Covid having broken people seems to be tracking. I don't know if it's stress, or subsequent inflation, or irreconcilable differences, or what, but something has definitely been lost.

It's really unfortunate that higher-order politicians have to be on their way out the door in order to feel they can speak about the discourse. We in local government have been pushing back on the garbage as much as we feel safe doing.
