From brokenness, heartache and loss to hope, healing, and abundance: the Lord makes all things new.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It brings me great joy to share this happy news with you who have so faithfully prayed for me and my children in the aftermath of my late husband’s passing. If someone had told me then that this is where we’d be today, I likely would have responded with indignation.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And yet I have experienced enough dying and rebirth in life to know that God would not abandon us to the fatherlessness and loneliness we found ourselves in when Michael died, though I couldn’t imagine then just what His plan would be. ⁣
⁣
When I first crossed paths with Stephen through a chance encounter right here on @X, friends, I saw in him someone so like myself in every way- from our faith, our histories with heartache and loss, our musical propensities, our love of tradition and art, to our philosophies on everything from parenting, lifestyle, and our dreams for the future, even down to the way our minds both think- that I knew right away God had a hand in our meeting. And through following the Lord’s leading, copious amounts of prayer and sincere discernment, we recognized our call to marriage and to joining our families- me with my two children to his and his seven, (yes seven children!)⁣
⁣⁣
Throughout at all, I have been humbled by the many here who have reached out to share with me that they continue to pray for us. With this new life change, which included our moving from Michigan to a beautiful homestead in New York, my trading music ministry and teaching for caring for the family and home, I hope to get back to creating art and God willing sharing a measure of the joy, hope, and beauty that God has bestowed upon us in His mercy. ⁣

Until then, I thank you again for your prayers and support and want to assure you they are returned. Deo gratias!⁣
