70% of Yemenis rely on farming and livestock for income and food. The conflict and spread of diseases among farm animals caused a decline in livestock.
In 2023, the ICRC provided support, resulting in:
-Vaccination of over 5M livestock
-Treatment of over 4.3M livestock

Farmers in #Hodeidah suffer greatly from the conflict.

The ICRC in collaboration with Tihama Development Authority, supported the infrastructure of its farm in AlHussayniah area with:

🌱Irrigation network system
🏞️Restoration of 2 nurseries
💧 3 boreholes
⚡218.5KW solar power.
