I’ve bought my train tickets up to Makerfield, arriving mid morning tomorrow. Is anyone else going up hoping to be allowed to vote or do I need to register before midnight tonight? This democracy thing is so liberating isn’t it? #Makerfield#UKPolitics
@BigDerbyMan@DenisAdshe93251@afneil Great - so the key elements are all in place. Got to say it looks like dear old Auntie is doing what it does best. ITV a distant second in this all the time Lee “Deadly” Dixon is involved.
@DenisAdshe93251@afneil Are the commentators and reporters all in Salford too? I must admit I’d assumed the commentary team was in the stadium and as close to the action as needed, when needed. Am I wrong about that?
@OllieHolt22 We support our team. May have a soft spot for another team (through any number of life’s odd coincidences or quirks) but generally we don’t support other teams just cos they happen to play in the same league/country.
@uktalker@Steven_Swinford Why not? Surely it’s the best economic outcome over dogma - as someone much richer than mr said, it’s “the art of the deal” and getting the right deal for you. The old sayings are there for a reason / it’s the economy !
@PoundShopBot@TobyForster88@PaulEmbery I see an interesting point here. The post originally sought to suggest (IMO) ‘how could a Granny/Child combo be considered as “Nazi’s”. The response said (again IMO) how could the picture of swastika waving crowd be considered Nazi’s and could both contain people being used?
@lewis_goodall Intrigued you say - are you sure it isn’t just intrigue for intrigues sake. If you know something that proves Starmer isn’t on the right track then “cough” now rather than holding back.
