❌🏳️‍🌈 Ishiba says NO to same-sex marriage, citing need for further debate

"The introduction of same-sex marriage significantly impacts citizens' views on family. It is crucial to consider public opinion, the progress of National Diet debates, and the status of ongoing legal cases."

"Behold the heart which has so loved men that it has spared nothing, even to exhausting and consuming Itself, in order to testify Its love; and in return, I receive from the greater part only ingratitude, by their irreverence and sacrilege, and by the coldness and contempt they have for me in this sacrament of love."

The Church have principles, morals and social teachings to uphold, despite the changing demands and trends of this modern world. It’s institutions is subjected to the Holy Mother Church. If a institution starts to go against her teachings, then they're not worthy to be called.
