@Altavistagoogle@nuala_00@Feiryred I gree up in some of thr roughest council estates in the city I lived in. Working class as a socioeconomic group lands short - it is cultural too. My point was diversity has helped the UK prosper throughout our history, and why oh why are we so focussed on where folks were born.
@copperdale @dave75265839 @simonhall1974 @cononeilluk@simonhayes67@BorisJohnson First up would love to see what that long term (non covid) investment is. Second I have a good few friends swayed by exactly that, so really not cloud cuckoo land. Not sure why you are defneding it - was clearly a Brexit campaign policy. You won, own it proudly.
@copyconstruct Not sure if this helps but in case, when I want to tease out zero downtime complexity with a team I find this a good article building on the issues of state and DB migrations https://t.co/PrQrmZR9sN (we are a Spring shop)
@ddrysdale99@localnotail@EmmaKennedy@jonlis1 Definitely not wrong - many of my friends have already left, we are planning it. The PM said something like 'I will stop immigrants treating this coubtry like it is theirs' at the election. So many people have suggested we go home since Brexit, definitely not welcome
@LogicalFallac18@steve_lieber@GrandSoLike That is so off the mark. I worked on water control systems that would have failed as the program simply couldn't handle the date concept....no water is a problem.
@copperdale @dave75265839 @simonhall1974 @cononeilluk@simonhayes67@BorisJohnson This is beyond grasping - people at the tine clearly thought that was the intent, and Johnson repeated time and again let's fund our nhs. All a bit late for the Ts&Cs.
@DeniseMelling@CarolineBignell@NaoShoo Similar, only solution I can find is to no longer be British so we are planning our move to Germany and I will aim for citizenship. Never thought my life choices over theast 20 years would result in that. Weird times.
@U_WontLike_Me @NaoShoo@JoshAlexCairo@CarolineBignell This is just an utter lack of compassion to fit your brexit narrative. Brexit has made it harder for families in this spot, it is simple fact. My life too has been complicated the same way. One day I really hope yoy see some value from it.
@thecolonel18453 @StreetsOfTide @privbrad_ @KymYSmith @FrankBe03306014 Sure, but at aome point that discussion has to he had in the basis of available fact. I live in dorset which has a large older population and a large pro leave contingent.
@thecolonel18453 @StreetsOfTide @KymYSmith @FrankBe03306014 The balance of leave votes does tend toward older voters based on the available data https://t.co/zh7H5TnpyW.
@mclift13@PicturesHoly@alextalbot116@cidered112@claraeuro@AmandaRamsay To you too....really do hope you find a betrer way to express your views in 2021 as the group leading us into this new world though. Good luck with it, you may have 'won' but seem to have no idea what it is. That is where democracy will win out thankfully.
@pooshilove@claraeuro For my job as do i....but i can't magically get that back...and koving their businesses out of the UK is nothing to do with travel simply they knew the export pain that small businesses are now seeing.
@mclift13@PicturesHoly@alextalbot116@cidered112@claraeuro@AmandaRamsay Not really how democracy works. There seem to be zero plans to gather promised upsides from the pro brexit camp and a lot of short term downsides. Do nothing for long enough and the country will change its mind, so kinda on you to deliver what you want. It is not a football match
@StefanByrcza@Andrew_craig82@claraeuro No he said this is good for you, so vote for it. Then moves his assets. Seems the exact definition of hypocritical to me.
@glynmckendry @claraeuro I guess afew obvious pro brexit ones would be Dyson's move to Singapore and Reese-Mogg's to Ireland - these are two of the leave lead voices....
