Trump could be barred from holding office again under Section 3 of 14th Amendment, which bars anyone from office who has been found to have “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against” the Constitution. That finding could be made by a simple majority vote of both houses. Done.
One of the best humans I know had some thoughts on watching U.S. Capitol Police Officer Eugene Goodman face down that mob of Trump-loving insurrectionists that was steps away from the floor of the Senate. Sharing here, with his permission.
I don't know, but it sure seems to me like not calling the race when the outcome is obvious in states like PA and NV gives the president more time to spout misinformation.
There's a lot of totally correct talk about how @StaceyAbrams was pivotal to winning Georgia. Folks: Stacey & her team were pivotal to flipping Wisconsin too. And every other battleground. They worked with us to build massive, supercharged voter protection teams—starting *early.*
