@NancyGaytan2021@MaddernBryan @SarahCeja03 Wow I have never heard of this! I will have to check it out, because I love this idea. Nothing is better than reading a great book, and being able to share your passion for it to your students is awesome.
@DaniAllen327 @MaddernBryan @SarahCeja03 @Duncannedd I love this idea! I agree that it would be really cool to have a physical map that you can touch and zoom in and out of!
@MaddernBryan@doctor2pi @SarahCeja03 A4) As a child in elementary school I would have loved to have Google classroom. I loved to type, and I think that the feedback I would have gotten would have been way more meaningful vs getting feedback on a paper days later after assignment was due. #EDTE4200#csubted
@VfloresEDTE4200@Ststansberry@joceperezCSUB@tom_karnes Hi Veronica! I agree! I read somewhere that the best way to implement a new language is by doing regular everyday things using the desired language such as watching videos on the news in a different language. Love this idea!
@Ststansberry@doctor2pi@joceperezCSUB A3) I would like to use tools that are designed for ELL like BrainPOP and Read and Write. Along with that, I believe being consistent with these tools is key, and creating habit routine using them everyday. #EDTE4200#CSUBTED
@jenny_bones28@Ststansberry@joceperezCSUB@DrEddiesClass Hi Jennifer! I love this idea, and I will defiantly have to look more into this tool. I also love how you implement the reading daily for 20 minutes… that is so important!
@mahokagawa @tom_karnes@doctor2pi@CsubMadelyns@DrEddiesClass Hi Maho! I totally agree with you. I remember one time last year I was taking a quiz and my phone died before I could scan my quiz to turn in. The whole class had to wait for me to upload it! So embarrassing!
@kassidy_mason2@tom_karnes@CsubMadelyns@Ststansberry Hi Kassidy! I agree completely. It devastates me that so many children’s learning is impaired by this way of teaching. It really holds them back, and it makes me so sad!
@tom_karnes@doctor2pi@CsubMadelyns A2) The most recent experience I had was the LockedBrowser method in a Math Exam. It lead me to have test anxiety and ultimately caused me to preform bad on my exam. It also is extremely difficult to get through. #csubted#EDTE4200
@LYSS_GURON@doctor2pi Hi Alyssa! I love google classroom! I agree that it’s a great tool to use, and I also feel like it’s an easier way to give back feedback to the students. It defiantly reaches them quicker; therefore, it’s more meaningful in that way.
@mumofdeux@doctor2pi Hey Elle! Flipgrid is awesome! It makes me feel more connected to the class even though we all aren’t together. I also agree with you that it helps me get my point across more clearly.
@doctor2pi A1) I love Remind 101. I think it’s an amazing resource to use to connect with students. For example, you can remind them off assignments due, documents, and even notes! There’s so many ways to utilize it. #EDTE4200#CSUBTED
I have learned so much about technology and how to use it in the classroom in the last few weeks. This class has really helped me expand my knowledge on this very important tool. #csubedte4200#csubted
