Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI), CON, FCA, paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, CFR, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, and members of the Remo Traditional Council in Sagamu.

Our engagement with His Royal Majesty, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, CFR, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, and other members of the Remo Traditional Council was deeply significant.

Accompanied by our performing Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON; my running mate, Alhaja Kudirat Adegunwa-Balogun; and APC leaders, we reaffirmed our resolve to build upon the administration’s achievements and deliver balanced development across Ogun State.

We also presented a 30-seater bus to the Traditional Council to support its activities. We are profoundly grateful to our royal fathers for their warm reception, words of encouragement and special prayers for our success.

The inauguration of the Ogun State APC Campaign Council marks another significant step towards securing a resounding victory for our great party in the 2027 general elections.

We deeply appreciate our leader and Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his purposeful leadership and commitment to the unity and continued progress of our party. We also thank our party leaders, stakeholders and members across the 20 local government areas and 236 wards for their steadfast support.

The public campaign for the Feb 6, 2027 Governorship election officially begins today.

My candidate for the Ogun State Governorship election is Senator Solomon Olamilekan “YAYI” of the APC.
Vox populi, vox Dei.

For equity and fairness, it is generally accepted across Ogun State that this is the turn of Ogun West. The people of Yewa/Awori have presented a candidate, and many of us from the other senatorial districts will support him.

Beyond the politics of zoning and fairness, YAYI is a candidate whose record is difficult to match. Project for project, achievement for achievement, empowerment for empowerment, his record in the 10th Senate puts him head and shoulders above anyone else in this gubernatorial race in my opinion.

I know political campaigns are two-dimensional: issues and agenda. Both are fair game in love and war. But remember, agenda can cut both ways,and nobody has a monopoly on it.

I will make my case,support my candidate and let the people decide.
