Some people are so naïve that they regard the two Gujarati tycoons as “our own” capitalists, while treating Elon Musk as a foreign capitalist. This is a profound delusion.

In a globalised world, Indian origins alone do not make a capitalist “one of us.” Those whom some embrace as “our own” merely happened to be born in India. When one buys cheap Russian oil and sells it to Europe at a profit, concern for the Indian people does not guide his decisions.
