Does anyone know how to escalate an issue with @EmiratesSupport ? We’ve been trying to claim compensation for a delay & missed connection for months and they keep sending us in circles. Really annoying.
@GedONeilBell @Born_Free_2024@twlldun You don't pay IHT on your own pension. And it's always been the case that you don't pay tax when you save your pension (to maximise its value) and then pay tax when you use it. Where's the brutality?
Finding it very difficult to contact @Victorianplumb about a damaged item I urgently need a replacement for. Does anyone know how to get in touch with them? The website chatbot is useless.
Here’s a short story about who wins and loses from the status quo of our inheritance tax rules - and about, what you might politely call ‘sub-optimal’ journalism🧵
Esther McVey should get her memory checked. She has forgotten that the policy she's blaming Labour for was brought in by her Tory government last year.
You're only paranoid if they're not really after you.

@SippersShippers@DylanoA4@ChivalryGuild McConaughey improves with age. Since he stopped doing romcoms he’s just got better and better. Probably always was but wasn’t getting the chance to show it. Oscar for Dallas Buyers Club and followed up with Interstellar - great performance.
@bmay When you have a stagnant economy there’s little room for anything without investment balanced by increased taxes (without scaring the horses). Austerity has driven wages down in real terms for years and investment with them. The solution was always going to be painful.
@lianafricker@bmay Anyone who is so stretched to pay unnecessary school fees that they have to work extra to afford them shouldn’t have committed to them in the first place.
@JosieLivingLife@amateuradam Not even socialist democracy, in fact! Social democracy. They haven't even got a plan to renationalise the many failed privatised projects, so we're a long way from even that!
@JosieLivingLife@amateuradam The steps you're talking about are a long way from communism. The 'signs' you mention look like those of a socialist democracy attempting to regain growth after years of stagnation. It won't be UK's side of the Atlantic that we need to worry about.
