Fourth Grade- English Language: Students can begin by following a thread created by the teacher. The teacher can begin/form a short story that the students will have to develop and expand upon #325SU19 #525SU19

@wetzel_zach Also I would create a class twitter account to have them use. Although I agree that it would be hard to ensure that students aren't drifting off onto other things.

@Jessica99985717 @Edlt525_325 I like this idea! I think that it gives everyone a way to participate and express their thoughts where others can see it and respond. This could help the students develop ideas and think on another level expanding upon their thoughts and ideas.

@AlyssaAngelo2 I like your idea! It is very creative and gets the students thinking in a different way. Would you use this in the classroom as an activity or as homework/practice outside of the classroom?

@salli_miller Hi Salli- I like your idea! Students could also follow organizations that they are interested in and conduct research for a period of time and then write up a report indicating what they have found or what the organizations post about and what appears to be a hot topic.

I was thinking that this would either be good for a homework assignment to do at home and then review in class or one that could be done while in class for independent work and then come together as a class and read the finalized story.
