1) abolish hotel quarantine like experts have advised

Every politician’s favorite scapegoat is blaming travelers. Especially @fordnation. Hopefully the 🇨🇦 people don’t fall for it this time. People have valid reasons for traveling like family reunification.

@pat_p9 @CP24 Did you read the full article??... "Our measures are working – less than 2 per cent of known COVID-19 cases are acquired through travel or exposure to someone who travelled". You can travel in Canada with out a covid test or quarantine. The problem is not international travel.

@Snakefish1 @CP24 The first time when no one knew anything about covid. They have already said that less then 1% cases came off the planes All these cases now are from people spreading it around . Do you know how many people who actually have covid leave their house ??

you DO realize that after 3 days (often 24hrs) people do the rest of quarantine AT HOME? 🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s only if they test positive they are then put in a federal quarantine facility. #LoveIsNotTourism

UK quarantine hotels (only for high risk countries) £80/night for 10 nights. Incl meals, coffee, tea, fruit on demand. = $1400 CAD.

Canadian quarantine hotels $2000 (mandatory for everyone entering the country incl families) for 3 nights. Laughable “meals”.
