As I’ve been reading the Old Testament this year one of the things that’s clear to me is that God isn’t concerned with being completely understood. We don’t necessarily have the same privilege.
@Iamabookaddict 😂 it’s fun to escalate things of no consequence. I was gonna say that your mom must’ve been more afraid of salmonella than mine, but then you said raw flour. Who cares about raw flour?
Not formal and strategic as she says, which ends up looking like affirmative action. What we need are humble leaders, men and women, intensely committed to God’s word, willingly submitting to their authorities. Pastors who honor women like this. Women willing to serve like this. https://t.co/5gmkFIk1fv
As go our seminaries, so go our churches. It’s past time for a full re-evaluation of existing power structures, and for the strategic implementation of formal channels of influence/input/leadership for women in the SBC.
@KyriosityTweets Well yes, there’s that. 🤨 I generally don’t even bother with them. 6/10 it’s a lame Pinterest grab anyway and not good for what I want. #takethatpinterest
People say, “Pinterest!” like it’s the magic answer to every menu planning, craft project, house diy quandary. There’s this thing called creativity, also Google.
@5pointsupermom It’s a good place to store things, perhaps not the best, but yeah. When I open it I have to keep to the straight and narrow before I’m despairing of what little time and money I have to diy with.
@JennMGreenberg I’m pretty sure, as have lots and lots of our forefathers and mothers and held the same positions. I’ll expect your article to be wrought with biblical evidence against the message of these folks and the like. p.s. I don’t support submission ➡️ abuse 😏
@JennMGreenberg 😆 okay, okay. Everyone deserves to be pulled out of their echo chamber every now and then. I’ve disagreed all the authors quoted here or there, but there’s one I’d really closely align myself with. And it isn’t Debi Pearl. But have some respect, these people have read the Bible
