I think its time we call out Martha Koome as the worst Chief Justice in the history of our great republic
The absurdities being perpetrated by Magistrates and Judges is at an all time high.........absolutely annoying
After deep soul searching, I have decided that TUTAM is the only solution.
It is therefore important for me to state that;
TUTAMtoa asubuhi na mapema,
TUTAMpeleka Sugoi,
TUTAMkamata,
TUTAMpeleka jela,
Mambo ni TUTAM.
The Law Society of Kenya strongly condemns the shocking arrest of Chief Justice Emeritus @dkmaraga and environmental activists protesting the irregular allocation of 76 acres of Nairobi National Park. Bundling a retired head of our Judiciary into a police vehicle for peacefully opposing a Sh42 Billion project, reportedly pushed through without public participation, is a direct assault on the civic space guaranteed under Article 37 of the Constitution. National heritage sites are not state property to barter behind closed doors.
The LSK will not stand by while police force is weaponized against constitutional defenders. We have immediately dispatched an LSK legal team to Lang’ata Police Station to secure the unconditional release of the activists, and I commend the CJ Emeritus for refusing to leave custody until all those arrested with him are freed. We demand an immediate end to the harassment of civic actors and a transparent public audit of the Bomas expansion plan. The @LawSocietyofKe remains firmly on the frontlines to protect our laws and our land.
#JusticeForEugeneMutuku who was ejected from a moving matatu over fare. He was a KMTC student on attachment in Kasarani. Why is @ntsa_kenya silent on the Sacco
Good morning @ntsa_kenya , I am Still following up
On this matter. Eugene Mutuku, a final-year KMTC Matuu student who had just begun his clinical attachment in Kasarani was thrown out of a matatu belonging to Nicco Movers SACCO, registration number KDV 713J. He was rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital where he sadly succumbed to his injuries. The entire Sacco should be suspended immediately. That’s only driver & conductor will be presented. @DCI_Kenya
Lakini pia, how did the PASSENGERS in the Nicco Movers Limited bus registration number KDV 713J allow the driver to proceed and even pick more passengers on the way after it had crushed the KMTC student Eugene Mutuku on the tarmac? Like really nothing happened?
We demand #JusticeForEugeneMutuku .
Since when did being poor become a crime in this country?
We cannot normalize this behavior of people being thrown out of moving vehicles.
#JusticeForEugeneMutuku
Back in our day, simply wearing a school uniform was enough to qualify for free public transport.
The vehicles were managed by an older generation who were very considerate toward school children. Even when a bus was full, they would often find a crate or some extra space for a student to sit on without charging any fare.
It is heartbreaking and deeply inhumane to see how some members of the current generation of matatu management treat school children.
Tumetoka kwa super metro sasa Nicco sacco imetake over. Nicco sacco bus KDV 713J threw a student out of a moving bus today😔
Shame on all passengers who were there and did nothing
US Presidents have 2 official residences: the White House & Camp David. In other words, 1 state house & 1 state lodge.
Currently, Ruto has about 15 official residences: 3 state houses & approx 12 state lodges. He wants to build another lodge in Meru.
Are Africans normal? 🤔
Eugene Mutuku’s story is a heartbreaking tragedy that defies comprehension.
A final-year student at KMTC Matuu, Eugene was on the verge of graduation. After years of enduring CATs, final exams, endless assignments, group projects, and lecturers who appeared as rarely as a solar eclipse, he had finally reached the home stretch .As part of his course requirements, he had just begun his clinical attachment on Tuesday at a hospital in Kasarani. Just two days later, on Thursday morning, his life was cut short in the most senseless way imaginable. While heading to work, a matatu conductor from Nicco Movers Limited SACCO (registration KDV 713J) allegedly pushed him out of a moving vehicle over a fare of KSh 50. Eugene was thrown onto the tarmac and run over. A Good Samaritan who rushed to help found him in agony and sped him toward the hospital. On the way, he spotted the same matatu at Garden Estate, casually picking up passengers. When he informed the crew that they had just thrown a passenger onto the road, they reportedly claimed they were heading to the police station to report the incident.Eugene was taken to Kenyatta National Hospital, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries .It is difficult to grasp: a young man who had survived years of rigorous medical training, sleepless nights, and countless academic hurdles—only for his dreams to be shattered over fifty shillings. Fifty shillings that can barely buy a packet of crisps today.Eugene now rests in eternity, his journey to the other side arriving far sooner than anyone expected. As the Kikuyu saying goes, when a madman throws away his blanket in the cold season, he knows something the owner does not. Yet in this case, no wisdom on earth can justify throwing a human being out of a moving vehicle over such a trivial amount. Some people walk among us wearing human skin but carrying the heart of a wild beast. Even a hyena kills to eat. What excuse can justify this level of cruelty?
This young boy died yesterday in a very sad accident. He was thrown out of a Nicco Sacco bus and run over while on his way to school.
People say he did not have the 50 shillings fare. What hurts the most is that 33 other people were inside the bus. They saw everything but stayed quiet. No one helped him. No one paid the small fare to save his life.
A whole bus of adults watched a child in trouble and did nothing.
This is so heartbreaking. The people who did this must face the full punishment of the law. No child should ever die like this. May his soul rest in peace.
