Celsius is superior to Fahrenheit and I’m tired of pretending this is a debate.
Celsius feels like temperature was designed by an human being who walks outside, feels the air, and says, “Yeah, that makes sense.”
Zero is freezing. 40 is brutally hot.
22 is comfortable. 25 is warm.
The numbers feel like what they are describing.
Fahrenheit feels like it was designed by a committee of people who hate joy and want every conversation about the weather to sound like a chemistry lab.
“It’s 70 degrees outside.”
What does that even mean to a normal person? Am I wearing shorts? Am I grabbing a jacket?
Nobody knows. You need a conversion chart and a government employee standing next to you explaining the vibes.
Celsius gives you range. That’s the point. It gives you more numbers for the temperatures human beings actually live in. You can feel the difference between 20, 22, 25, and 28. Those numbers matter. Celsius lets you describe the world with precision without having to use high numbers like a lunatic.
China outclasses India on propaganda. It both does anti-India propaganda around the world constantly showing India in poor light to hit tourism, exports, and India's economy. And at the same time shows only the best parts of itself censoring any damaging images or information from leaking out. There are trains in China that look worse than India and there are rural parts of China with no electricity, toilets, or basic infra. But we will never get to see these.
India’s weird bc some of its development stuff is China-level, or even outclasses China on aesthetics, but unlike in China, the whole country isn’t along for the ride. Like there are two alien Indias one superimposed on the other.
I have lived in India and the heat in India is infinitely more bearable than the heat in the UK for a whole host of reasons. Even Indians in the UK are complaining.
Indian economy is not on steroids.
India has been growing prudently. We are one of the few countries to not increase the debt/GDP since 2008 financial crisis.
Government, corporates and households have all been conservative about debt
Which means that in times of crisis, we still have capacity to take on debt for growth if needed.
We still have bullets left to fire - which can’t be said for many other countries
🇬🇷🇮🇳🇹🇷 Turkish fears became reality. They’re so shit scared of Greece getting armed with Indian weapons thay they’re calling for a preemptive attack. Too bad Turkey, their predicament is only getting worse by the day, and is only accelerating now that India has joined the game.
It has been apparent to me for quite a while that Pakistan as a mediator is more than problematic. Their animosity towards Israel is long standing.
It is undeniable that Iranian military aircraft are being housed on Pakistani air bases and past rhetoric from the highest Pakistani officials against Israel is disturbing.
As to the defense minister’s comments about the Abraham Accords, saying that Pakistan would never join because they don’t trust Israel: The clip may be a year old, but I fear the sentiment is fresh.
In that regard, it is imperative that Pakistan give an answer now to President Trump’s call to join the Abraham Accords.
That's an Indian sloth bear. It is so deadly & aggressive that even tigers are scared of it. To treat like a cow - requires a special kind of connection to nature.
Pakis are so jealous of Iranians because they wish they were 1% of us. Pakistan has no culture, no history, no empires. Pakistan’s own anthem is in Persian because Urdu is a copy and paste of any Indian language. Pakistan will only be know as India’s bitch. The only other nation worse than Pakistan is Bangladesh, because those retards chose to be Pakistan’s bitch out of all countries.
I understand we have a long way to go to green our urban spaces. It's okay to ask for that, but please don't be this silly in falsifying data & conflating the two things.
Middle-East has a much longer & worse summer for 5 months vs. 2-3 for India. Just wait for the Middle-East summer to pick up post June. At this point, it sounds like a mindless agenda.
and this doesn't even take into account all the other anti-science BS that has happened in India in the last few years. like AYUSH, wastage of youngsters getting medical degrees for ancient pseuoscience, integrated medicine and what not. stuff which @theliverdoc talks about a lot.
many such regressions which don't have a simple metric to measure.
i might be wrong but most progress is due to motivated individuals rather than any significant effort from govt policies afaik.
@IndianTintin_@HOMOsapienid OBCs are marginalised not UCs. EWS has higher reservation relative to population. OBCs are taking General seats due to higher cut off.
Due to this heightened competition GCs are losing his power and privileged.
Even if you remove reservation, OBCs will dominate Group B,C,D Jobs
