Some leaders govern a nation. A few reshape its trajectory. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji’s 4,399 consecutive days in office have been defined by a singular effort to transform India at every level, from the everyday lives of its citizens to the nation’s standing in the world.
Today, as he becomes India’s longest-serving Prime Minister, we celebrate not merely a record, but a period of change that has touched every corner of the country.
From a water tap in a humble home to Chandrayaan reaching the Moon, from the aspirations of a farmer in the field to the courage of a soldier on the border, his leadership has sought to ensure that the benefits of progress reach every Indian while strengthening the nation’s confidence and capabilities.
A defining feature of this journey has been the balance between welfare and development. By combining support for the most vulnerable with reforms that have expanded opportunity, accelerated growth, and strengthened India’s economic foundations, he has shown that compassion and ambition can go hand in hand.
India today is more confident in its future, more ambitious in its goals, and more determined in its pursuit of excellence.
On behalf of my people of Andhra Pradesh, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji on this remarkable milestone. We remain committed to building Swarna Andhra and contributing to the realization of his vision of Viksit Bharat.

Anger of the Bengali Hindu will consume Bhaipo and @MamataOfficial
Amid chants of Jai Shri Ram, the Bengali Hindu confronts its oppressor
Sushant Sareen, Senior Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation, discussing the BJP's victory in West Bengal and Mamata Banerjee's TMC losing power after 30 years with Anand, Abhijit and Tehseen.
Sushant called the TMC government an "evil regime, wretched regime" that was "voted out of office" and rightly so.
He offers a sharp, critical analysis of the breakdown of the TMC administration, focusing on several structural and socio-political factors:
Sushant noted that the state is witnessing its first Hindu-led government framework in nearly 80 years, following decades of Left rule and subsequent TMC governance.
In a widely circulated excerpt, Sareen argued that the political climate under the Mamata government had left the state's Hindu population feeling deeply insecure. He went as far as stating that the previous administration was "virtually carrying out pogroms" against political dissidents and communities, comparing the general public's previous cognitive dissonance to post-1945 Nazi Germany where people chose to ignore the clear signs of violence around them.
He highlighted that a massive backlash built up dynamically due to the systemic and controversial policies followed by the TMC. He argued that public anger over local corruption, lawlessness, and institutionalized bias peaked to a level that completely dissolved the TMC's electoral fortress.
Sushant heavily criticized a section of senior journalists and mainstream media houses. He pointed out a stark double standard: while BJP-ruled states face aggressive media outrage over incidents, critical issues in Bengal including alleged mass rapes and political killings were routinely downplayed, heavily spun with "culture and nuance," or dismissed lightly by institutional reporters until independent journalists forced the issues into the light.
The loss of major bastions by Mamata Banerjee, coupled with systemic anti-incumbency, resulted in what national media described as a sweeping political realignment in East India.
