@ecophiliajones Pelican cases?.. depends on how long your core sections are…but a hardshell gun case w foam interior does seem to fit the dimensions I picture. Maybe if you put a label “soil coring equipment” it may not be as attention grabbing? (At least to those who don’t geek out on soils!)

@andrewrypel @SJC_fishy @FreshwaterSteve I have the same exact reservations about engineered “floating wetlands” that have been proposed and lapped up by many as some ecological engineering silver bullet. If there’s plastic and/or foam, how can there not be associated (micro-)plastic pollution at some point?
