Also, it seems to me that we just have to wait? if it is such a bad, sloppy, terrible piece of junk tech, it will fail and go away?

@LexsWorld @VraserX Agreed. Same problem when anime suddenly started being mass produced via 3DCGI/celshaded and suddenly many lost a lot of the magic.
Personally that only works if it STILL has the intention as if it were to be hand drawn, like Guilty Gear Xrd pulled off.

@YukonStrong @darryldjd Love the simple SINGLE tax: sales taxes like you say. Collected basically at the cashier.
Are you ultra rich and buy planes and yachts? Then you pay a ton of taxes.
Are you minimalist? The you pay less!
I have been living a tad minimalist for exactly this reason, be taken less.

@YukonStrong @darryldjd Several states in the US also don’t have income tax. Texas is one on this front, plus also don’t have crazy zoning laws that creat home deficits (and ballooned prices, homelessness, corruption tied to it, the works).
Besides Austin and Houston, life tends to be quite affordable.

Personally I’m tired of spam calls, robo calls, “impossible job opportunity” spawned message threads, etc that nobody tends to agree to.

@YukonStrong Exactly, I don’t think there’s any plumber, electrician, carpenter, trucker, etc out there asking for student loans bailouts. Instead, they are actually paying for others’ bailouts in the form of taxes!

@NeilBur90654435 @64BadHat @ksamgnet1 I don’t think it is that easy either, but during COVID there were measures in place to make sure people were traveling in and out with the proper requisites, from vaccination papers to having recent valid tests.
So I guess if they put their minds to it, they can. They just won’t.

@NatashaMontreal @YukonStrong Let me add one more injury: these income increases (shown to be minimal relative to house prices increases by the graph) start hitting higher income tax brackets because tax brackets do not remotely inflate at the same frequency/rate as income. We are “richer” though, tax me more

Another price tier (i.e. I wouldn’t mind paying more for Asset Forge) or a Kickstarter/Patreon of sorts, if enough users are interested and makes financial sense, the port is taken into maybe happening. @_JamesSharpe_ A quick question, just to wrap my head around it (I feel I’m getting it wrong): is it 3D position on a 2D texture? (UV is location in volume ‘topdown’, red height from bottom floor, green height from the top)? Or is it really 3D? (and the display shown happens to be a slice)
