BREAKING: Former Venezuelan leader Nicolรกs Maduro and his wife, Celia Flores, are due in a Manhattan courtroom within the hour for the next step in their high profile criminal hearings.
Maduro faces four criminal counts after U.S. forces seized him in Caracas during a January raid. Prosecutors allege he ran Venezuela as a drug trafficking organization for 25 years.
A June 2027 trial date is expected. If convicted, Maduro and Flores could face life in prison.
