I am starting a computational lab at LIOS, Riga, Latvia, and going to recruit a few people. Please DM if you are interested in a postdoc or PhD position in my Metabolic Research Group. I can highly recommend Riga, it is a beautiful city with very good living conditions.
If you want to collaborate with someone tremendously valuable on Metabolic Research and integrative -omics, you won't regret getting in touch with my ex-colleague @NikolayOskolkov who just recently started his lab in Riga.
RT to help Simon raise awareness of prompt injection attacks in LLMs.
Feels a bit like the wild west of early computing, with computer viruses (now = malicious prompts hiding in web data/tools), and not well developed defenses (antivirus, or a lot more developed kernel/user space security paradigm where e.g. an agent is given very specific action types instead of the ability to run arbitrary bash scripts).
Conflicted because I want to be an early adopter of LLM agents in my personal computing but the wild west of possibility is holding me back.
@PixelgenTech is closer to our vision now with the new Proxiome kit and the foundational technology Proximity Networks is. I will keep watching from the backroom as a shareholder and board member guiding the company strategy. Keep it rolling.
Onwards! 🚀
As of last week, I am transitioning from an operational role at @PixelgenTech to a strategic one through the board of directors.
Together, we carved a vision of open data science using open source libraries and technologies that would grant us the trust from our scientific peers.
At the personal level, apart from our vision when founding the company, there have been great learnings during my journey on how to get a company up from the ground.
We have also designed and built the IT and cloud infrastructure, the software site providing our highly rated data analysis tutorials, and many others from scratch. These resources will allow us to scale up. And Pixelgen is proud to be a "cloud-first" company.
I am proud to have overseen the data processing steps, the algorithmic methodology, the metrics and QC reporting structure, and even engineered a way on how to plot our cells in 3D. All these tasks weren't easy in the beginning and now we have become masters of them.
We’re thrilled to announce today that the @PixelgenTech team has developed Proximity Network Assay and integrated it into our Pixelgen Proxiome Kit, Immuno 155 to bring this groundbreaking technology to all the researchers
