If you have a few moments to listen to this interview as a parent with your child.
Possible one of the best post race interviews I have ever watched #PlayOn
On @SecBlinken’s recent trip, we caught up with @USAmbMongolia Buangan for a look at a day in his life. Follow along as he shows us how we are deepening U.S.-Mongolia ties. Every day may not include taking in horse racing, wrestling, and archery, but this one did.
#Education is our most powerful tool against the rising tide of antisemitism, racism, and hate speech.
By training educators worldwide, @UNESCO and its partners are building defenses against hatred & ensuring that the lessons of history are preserved & taught.

Met Tim Walz on my first day in Congress, sat next to him on Veterans Affairs committee for the following six years. No one fought harder for veterans. And he did it by bringing Democrats and Republicans together to get the job done.
As Governor of Minnesota he codified abortion rights, implemented background checks, legalized marijuana, passed paid family leave, restored voting rights and invested more than $1 billion in affordable housing. Not bad.
And before any of this, he was a high school teacher, football coach and a 24-year veteran of the army national guard.
He also happens to be a terrific dad and husband — there isn’t a conversation I’ve had with him where he doesn’t bring up his kids, always with the biggest smile on his face.
We became friends in Congress, going on early morning runs (in the dead of DC winter, I’m bundled in layers and he’s wearing a t-shirt and shorts), talking Minnesota music, the Replacements (Tim!), Prince, Dylan, Husker Du, and sharing stories about our families and hometowns.
In a business that prioritizes transactional relationships, he’s always been good to me, reaching out when I’m up, reaching out when I’m down, just being a good friend. And in a profession that encourages poll-testing and focus groups and political corporate speak, he’s always himself, the real deal. Common sense, kindness and empathy.
I couldn’t be more excited that he’s on the ticket, couldn’t be more energized to do everything I can to help Vice President Harris and Governor Walz win the most important election of our lives.
Let’s go!
It’s Walz! Pronounced “Walls”. A great choice with an impressive record in Minnesota: making reproductive freedom a right, expanding paid family and medical leave, making school meals for students free. Veteran, teacher, football coach, Congressman, Governor. And he’s not weird!
When I called @Tim_Walz this morning to ask him to join our campaign, I shared my deep level of respect for him and the work we've done together.
We're going to unify this country and we're going to win.
Let's go get this done.
Confirmed, 59-34: Confirmation of Executive Calendar #582 Dorothy Camille Shea to be Deputy Representative of the United States of America to the United Nations, with the rank and status of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and the Deputy Representative of the United States of America in the Security Council of the United Nations.
Nine years ago in Obergefell v. Hodges, the Supreme Court affirmed that love is love.
And at the basis of that decision was the right to privacy – a fundamental right to make deeply personal decisions – that is now under attack.
Today, we celebrate the anniversary of the monumental marriage equality ruling of Obergefell v. Hodges.
This case moved our country forward, and was made possible because of the courageous couples and advocates in the LGBTQI+ community who fought for these hard-won rights.
Just 21 days away from the Washington #NATOSummit, @SecBlinken met with @jensstoltenberg to discuss how the @NATO Alliance is ready to defend our future for the next 75 years and reaffirm our commitment to Ukraine. We look forward to welcoming leaders to Washington in July.
Today marks 1,000 days since girls have been freely permitted to attend school in #Afghanistan. This is a horrifying thing to say. An infuriating thing to write.
1,000 days. September 2021 to this moment.
But it’s not enough to look back in anger. What’s necessary is to look forward with intention.
Our intention, at @solaafghanistan, is to help create the best-educated generation of women that Afghanistan has ever known. Our intention is to help create a global network of sisterhood, a global network of compassionate and confident young leaders.
Our intention is to be a home for the Afghan girls who’ll change the world.
I’m so honored to be partnering with @UNmigration to make this happen. I hope you’ll read their new press release, sharing news of the dozens of girls we’ve safely brought to us in #Rwanda: https://t.co/3bKRWkClR9. In it, you’ll hear from one of these girls yourself. Her voice, her goals. Her future.
Tomorrow is our final day of this year’s admissions season at SOLA. Meanwhile, our online academy @SOLAxOnline is in full swing, registering new learners and delivering daily content straight to each user’s smartphone.
Our global village of supporters makes this possible. It’s an honor to know you’re with us, and that you see the hope that Afghan women carry, the light that burns like fire in the darkness. It’s an honor to know that you do not look away.
In 2022, when Putin unleashed his brutal war on Ukraine, the world was tested.
Would we stand with Ukraine? Would we stand for sovereignty and against tyranny?
The United States, the G7, and countries around the world answered yes.
Today, we say yes again.
