3 weeks ago I was admitted to hospital and told my lung mets have progressed so third line chemo so has failed. My only hope now are clinical trials but my chances of getting on a trial are low. Sometimes staying positive is hard but I’m not ready to give up #pancreaticcancer

@PancreaticCanUK I was told second line chemo has failed yesterday and the chances third line will work is less than 10%. I desperately need access to a Drax trial but am told none are available. The NHS is so far behind other countries and I feel like I’m being left to die

Last June I was diagnosed with sudden T1 diabetes which triggered investigations and a pancreatic tumour was found. Six weeks later I was told it had metastasised so S4 and terminal. A year on I’m doing ok 💜. A terminal diagnosis is not the end of my story #pancreaticcancer

@HMRCcustomers I have terminal cancer with a prognosis of less than 12 months. I’m trying to cash in my pension with @British_Airways under the critical illness class which @macmillancancer tell me should be tax free. BA are trying to charge me 1/3 of my pension citing charges?

@expostie3 @WrongWingDeej @PolitlcsUK We need to stop billions being frittered away, stop paying for people who haven’t contributed to the system and increase NI. I wouldn’t have an issue paying £10 or £20 more a month if it was ring fenced for pensions and the NHS.

@PolitlcsUK The goal posts just keep moving. Will MPs and Execs be forced to wait until they’re 72? I think not. Perhaps they should. We already have one of the worst pensions. Most of my family died in their late 70’s or early 80s so now I may have to work up to the day I die. So wrong

@Jesse_Norman @EllieChowns I’ve contributed for 37 years to see the pension age push back again & again. Most of my family passed in their late 70s or early 80s so at best I’ll enjoy 4-8 years of retirement. My private plans are now worth less than I paid in. How is this fair?

If the #pension age rises to 72 forcing people to work later is there not a risk young people and those returning to work won’t be able to find jobs so we end up paying for higher unemployment. I’m no expert but surely the answer should be to increase NI and stop wasting money
