A Wits/UJ professor claims the mere presence of white people causes workplace trauma to black South Africans.
Vasintha Pather argues that “whiteness” — including things like punctuality and accurate calculation creates anxiety for black and Indian colleagues.
This is what is being published and taught as academic work in South Africa:

@stchouse100 I dunno man, when people have invested so much time and energy in being wrong, they aren't going to just flip overnight. But for sure the pendulum is swinging the other way
Barend Venter (28), a farmer on the family farm Moosrivier Gemengde Boerderye with his parents Koos and Wilna, had just pulled his truck into the warehouse after returning from the vineyard, and was locking up. Suddenly six attackers were standing right next to him; classic stalk-and-ambush tactics these thugs love on isolated White farms.
He kept his head, started hammering every button on the remote in his hand, hit the panic button, and the truck alarm went off. The attackers bolted. Groblersdal police searched the area but never found them. Quick thinking stopped him and his parents from becoming another entry in the farm murder statistics that the ANC government and its apologists keep denying exist.
We need recruitment practices that recognise talent wherever it is found.
And we need workplaces that are prepared to train, mentor and develop young people.
This is not an appeal for charity.
It is an appeal for investment in the future of our economy.

Indeed Mr. President, behind every unemployed young person there is a story. It goes like this:
A liberation movement that turned out to be a gang of looters and thieves was in government for 30 years. During this time, your contribution to unemployment was as follows:
1) Theft of taxpayers money to the tune of R1,5 Trillion
2) Infrastructure decay - Deep structural and comprehensive national rebuild estimates of the stuff you broke span R8 trillion to R15 trillion+ over a 15-to-30-year horizon.
3) Looting and rampant corruption that destroyed just about every single SOE under your watch.
4) Your continued love affair with your Iran, Hamas, Islamic and communist buddies makes SA an undesirable investment destination.
5) Your obsession with BEE and race quotas is losing the country investment and jobs.
6) For 30 years you have run a government and parliament where criminals are not held accountable. Criminality and incompetence are rewarded and simply recycled back into the system.
7) State capture that fucked the country to the edge of failure.
And btw - none of this is Apartheid’s fault. It’s all on you 🫵
The Joburg water shitshow continues & spreads.
How Johannesburg Got Its First Running Water 138 years ago🚰✨
When Johannesburg was founded as a chaotic gold-mining camp in 1886, thousands of diggers relied on muddy streams and shallow wells. Typhoid and water-borne diseases were rampant, making clean water a matter of life or death.
Here is how the city finally laid its first pipes:
The Sivewright Concession (December 1887): Recognizing the crisis, the government granted entrepreneur James Sivewright a special concession to build a dedicated water supply system for the booming camp.
First Running Water (1888): By 1888, the Johannesburg Waterworks, Estate and Exploration Company was formed. It constructed the city's very first piped network, pumping clean water from natural fountains and springs in Doornfontein.
The Water Race (1892–1893): As Joburg grew rapidly, new players entered the market. The Braamfontein Water Company (1892) began piping water to the northern suburbs, while the Vierfontein Syndicate (1893) focused on supplying the mines.
The Rand Water Board (1903): Private companies couldn't keep up with the exploding population. In 1903, the government stepped in to create Rand Water, consolidating private infrastructure and laying the groundwork to pump bulk water from the Vaal River system.
From a dusty mining camp struggling for a clean drink to a massive metropolis powered by one of the largest water networks in the world—Joburgs water history is as rich as the gold beneath it! 🇿🇦

I've had a copyright claim submitted over a few small Tesla clips in my latest video while talking about some of the sweet Roadster thruster footage. Obviously all fair use. How is it fair @YouTubeCreators that a baseless claim like this can be made by a company that has absolutely nothing to do with Tesla? All monetisation removed again for up to 30 days including shopping and I just need to take it until my dispute expires. Add to that I need to tick boxes in my dispute submission agreeing that
"I understand that filing fraudulent disputes may result in termination of my YouTube channel."
For creators this stuff scares them into being bullied into having their earnings taken away. It only needs a 2 second glance to see that the claim itself is fraudulent, so such claims should never make their way to a creator in the first place.
All the power is with the claimant, almost nothing with the creator. 🥺

The Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa (BCCSA) has dismissed eNCA’s application for leave to appeal against both its finding and sanction.
The news channel must now broadcast the prescribed correction and apology to Solidarity, unless it appeals again.
The case stems from a broadcast on 25 March 2026 in which eNCA presenters claimed that Solidarity had been spreading messages about genocide in the United States.
The BCCSA found that the broadcast created an inaccurate and unfair impression of Solidarity’s position.
Despite eNCA’s determined attempt to overturn the finding or have the sanction reduced, the original ruling therefore stands. The BCCSA found that eNCA had failed to demonstrate that the tribunal’s decision was clearly wrong.
A presenter must now read the following statement on the same morning programme:

@CyrilRamaphosa You're at an ideological war with yourself.
Listen to the people and scrap your racist laws.
Look at your party support. You're nose-diving.
We're tired of listening to your ideological nonsense.
Remove the barriers!
Woke, broke and out of control, it’s time to scrap the license fee.
As someone who started my career at the BBC, it gives me absolutely no pleasure to write these words. But let’s face the brutal truth: the British Broadcasting Corporation is a shadow of its former self and needs to be put out of its misery.
Founded in 1922 by Lord Reith with a proud mission to inform, educate and entertain, the Beeb was once the envy of the world. Today it has degenerated into a cesspit of left-wing political bias which the British public are forced to pay under the threat of criminal law.
Even when staring down the barrel of a $10 billion defamation lawsuit from the US President for its misleading edit of his Capitol Hill speech and which triggered the double resignation of its Director-General and Chief Executive of news, the BBC still refuses to admit its bias problem.
And yet the problems were laid bare again over the weekend with more revelations. First, we learned that taxpayer-funded civil servants have been seconded into BBC newsrooms, ‘fact checking’ and writing articles while masquerading as impartial journalists. Second, we discovered that schoolchildren are being brainwashed with left-wing views on net zero and immigration via the BBC Bitesize platform.
No wonder the BBC has plunged to the bottom of the Ofcom league table for impartiality, and that 2.5million viewers have turned their backs on the station since 2020, preferring instead to get their news from elsewhere.
And rather than addressing those problems BBC bosses and government ministers, concerned about the loss in licence fees, have decided to impose draconian measures to force people to pay for something they no longer want and no longer watch.
The tragic irony is that the BBC knows exactly what the problem is. Between 2024 and 2025, three separate internal reviews warned that ‘perceived political bias’ was driving viewers away. As whistleblower Michael Prescott revealed in an explosive leaked memo, "systemic editorial bias" runs deep. The main areas of concern were gender reporting, along with its reporting of Britain’s history, colonial past and in its anti-Israeli stance. Let’s be honest BBC, it isn’t perceived bias, it's real. The Gaza documentary got the BBC sanctioned and its Arabic station was forced to make 200 factual corrections about its wider Israel-Gaza war.
The BBC internal inquiry noted working-class viewers are particularly dissatisfied, finding it ‘out of touch’ and ‘alienating’.
Little wonder when you had ex-Match of the Day pundit, Gary Lineker, on £1.3 million of public money, using the profile the BBC gave him to pontificate about Brexit, Gaza, and Rwanda.
And what about the concerns over two-tier coverage of “Unite the Kingdom" protests and pro-Palestinian marches along with trigger warnings on comedy classics such as Dad’s Army and The Royle Family.
The BBC has been infiltrated and taken over by a left-wing woke metropolitan establishment and it is slowly killing it from within.
The public realise that this culture is so ingrained it will never change. It’s time to end the BBC licence fee.
The President of South Africa has called for social media restrictions, following the announcement of South Africa standing a chance not to have a seat in AGOA anymore.
Over 100 000 jobs are at risk, after the South African government has failed to owner demands, from the U.S. government. But instead they chose to rely on saying“we will not be bullied” without having a plan.
One of the reasons we need Starlink, relying on MTN towers would subject us to communism.
FACTS
Just to let our Australian friends know that at 4.00 pm U.K. time on Tuesday October 20th , the BBC has deleted all references to the attack on the Australian MP Helen Haines .
Nothing on the TV News and not on the website headline news items
When Green activists do something naughty the BBC doesn’t like to embarrass them
If the left wing piece of excrement had been a Zionist , Jew or Israeli the BBC would have given this story saturation coverage
This is a long read and it's worth every minute of your time.
It's universal, but it summarises exactly what has gone wrong in South Africa.
It also illustrates, in excruciating detail, why neither the ANC, nor the DA, can resolve our problems.
The DA's actual governing philosophy is moving towards a model of technocratic, big-city liberalism that places increasing burdens on ordinary property owners while accommodating the interests of wealthy foreign investors.
While the ANC and its corrupt patronage network have reduced vast swathes of the population to subsistence-level existence, dependent on state welfare and increasingly beholden to the very political system that keeps them impoverished.
We should not be voting for a different political party, we should be voting for a different political system.
