At the International Kite Festival (IKF) 2026 at Ahmedabad and Jaipur, NSE took investor awareness to new highs.
Through a dedicated stall, we distributed free kites carrying investor awareness messages—using the spirit of kite flying to spark conversations on smart investing.

The symbolism of kite flying - aspiration, balance, vigilance and foresight align naturally with principals of smart investing and investor protection.
Visitors also received simplified guidance on investor rights, grievance redressal, fraud prevention, and safe investing practices through quick, engaging interactions at the stall.

NSE, under the aegis of SEBI, organized a session on Cyber Investment Fraud Prevention at IITF 2025’s “Bharat ka Share Bazaar” pavilion.

The event was graced by Shri Kamlesh Varshney, WTM, SEBI, along with Shri Vijayant Kumar Verma, RD–NRO, SEBI and other senior SEBI officials.

The session featured expert insights from Shri Pawan Duggal, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court & Chairman, International Commission on Cyber Security Law, Shri Amber Gupta, SVP, NSE, and Shri Gyanendra Niraj, DGM, SEBI, who discussed various aspects of cyber fraud and its prevention. Shri Vivek Harlalka, VP, NSE delivered the vote of thanks.

A Nukkad Natak was also performed to raise awareness among attendees about cyber fraud risks and safe practices.

Later, Shri Kamlesh Varshney, WTM – SEBI visited the NSE booth and appreciated NSE’s innovative awareness initiatives. These included a mixed-reality ad, ‘Scambush’, ‘Wheel of Financial Freedom’ digital games, and a lucky draw—each designed to educate investors, who were encouraged to retain their lucky draw coupons containing key investor awareness messages.
