Astonishingly (because I log on approximately once every three months), I have just discovered that today is #MyTwitterAnniversary - 7 years of occasionally tweeting into the void. See you all in July!
Had a proper Lynne Truss moment while sub-editing, when I read 'her father taught her to shoot fish and ride horses'. A couple of missing commas could have started a new sport.

Of course people should be encouraged to learn and grow but we need to start taking responsibility for answering our own basic assed questions and examining our own thoughts and assumptions, rather than putting a drain on an already overburdened and straining community.
The amount of time and resource black people have to spend assuring deliberately obtuse white people that yes, of course, all lives matter but black lives are the ones in imminent danger...I can't even imagine how exhausting that must be.
