@brentalfloss Yup!!!

"Fears around money aren't the only thing keeping millennials stuck and blocked from designing their lives. It's also the fear of losing the perception of prestige that we have been groomed to chase, revere, and hold on to with all our might." https://t.co/ihADENGX9K

[Schnelle Acevedo | ✨ (@glamnellie on Threads)✨ @BklynActiveMama]

Not all of y’all non Twitter people running over here to tweet for the first time in 2022 to ask what just happened 😭😭

[Amber J. Adams @amberjadams]

Just getting started! Ain’t nothing about me. I’m just a wee bit seasoned. 😜

[Jen Hartmann @JenHartmann]

All of you late twenties and 30-somethings bemoaning how old-ish you are have no idea
just
how
crazy
YOUNG
you are

I started a nonprofit at 40
I had my son at 42
I landed my dream job at 48

We’re all just getting started

[Amber J. Adams @amberjadams]

When you can't travel...you can still read about it and dream!

[Amber J. Adams @amberjadams]

I retweet this with tears streaming down my face. The price of love is grief...but indeed it does feel like too much debt to overcome.

[Jared Misner @jared_misner]

What does it mean to live, to love, to die, to mourn in the year of our lord 2020?

I wrote a piece for @nytimes about my best friend. https://t.co/mJ1nmOn1fW

[Amber J. Adams @amberjadams]

@alissanichole My notifications have been off for like 3 years! 😂

[Amber J. Adams @amberjadams]

NYC will always be what you make it. I love to hear stories about women starting over and leaning into what lights them up! You go, girl.

[Mara Gay @MaraGay]

Welcome home, Cynthia 👏🏽👏🏽 https://t.co/EPMWEumDr7

[Amber J. Adams @amberjadams]

I will be tunning in!!!!!!!!!

[Michelle Obama @MichelleObama]

I’m thrilled to announce a new project: The #MichelleObamaPodcast with @Spotify! It’s been a tough year and I hope this podcast can help us explore what we’re going through and spark new conversations with our loved ones. I can't wait for you all to listen on July 29!

[Amber J. Adams @amberjadams]

@Alisha__g Thank you for sharing your story! I really enjoyed reading it.

[Amber J. Adams @amberjadams]

I clearly need to check Twitter more often. LOL! It's true.

[Ryan Davis @RyanNewYork]

.@amberjadams made me laugh on a call yesterday when she said the end of every video conference is like the end of an episode of the The Waltons.

[Amber J. Adams @amberjadams]

The bar issue is evergreen. The issue of what to do in the fall looms closer. In the South, kids typically go back to school in August....that's next month.

[Jodi Kantor @jodikantor]

Hearing this question every day: why are bars, restaurants and gyms, which are relatively dangerous, being opened before we’ve figured out schools? https://t.co/imUV8dUylI

[Amber J. Adams @amberjadams]

@LucasWMann 100%. We didn't see the pandemic coming, but the collapse of everything else was predictable. Capitalism and compassion/humanity are not compatible. In order to give more, people need to be happy with less. But we define ourselves by how much we have. Internally, we are a mess.

[Amber J. Adams @amberjadams]

Rest in peace to this wonderful man who brought me so much joy as a kid. The Dick Van Dyke Show is on my list of favourites. 98 years....wow.

[carl reiner @carlreiner]

What I am most proud of are, creating The Dick Van Dyke Show and informing Mel Brooks that he's 2000 Years Old and knows everything. This, and a lot more, in my Dispatches From Quarantine:

I think great administrators try to view things through the eyes of teachers… and I think great teachers try to view things through the eyes of students.

[Amber J. Adams @amberjadams]

@MayorMemphis .@MayorMemphis I'm glad your office is sharing the data points. Can you make the map with the zip code breakdown of the city bigger? It's very hard to read, currently. Thanks!

[Amber J. Adams @amberjadams]

I can't believe it has been seven years. She's right. We cannot rely on politicians. We have to be the change.
