@PlusBabesChat A6b: I think a common misconception is that meditation is supposed to "make your mind blank" or control your thoughts. That's not likely to happen! Meditation is really just about being here for the present moment - the breath is an easy way to stay there. #PlusChat
@PlusBabesChat A6b: Notice where you feel movement as you breathe. Now follow the wave of the breath, inhaling deeply, exhaling fully. If your mind wanders off, notice that & gently redirect your attention. When the timer goes off, congrats, you are finished. Do it again tomorrow! :) #pluschat
@PlusBabesChat A6: Meditation and mindfulness practice is something I do through movement (yoga asana, walking in nature) and also through contemplation and breath awareness. #PlusChat

@PlusBabesChat A5: 5. I learned to move my body because I enjoyed movement. It's about pleasure and inner awareness, not an emphasis on competition, size, shape, or weight.
6. It woke me up to negative beliefs and behavior about my body and allowed me to rewrite those stories. #pluschat
