I filmed RFK Jr (who gave Dr. Fauci’s personal diary to Rand Paul) at this anti-mandate rally a few years ago. They had photographs of Fauci dressed as Mengele. People were wearing yellow stars and connecting the mandate with the Holocaust.

Rfk even evoked Anne Frank. He equated Fauci with the rise of fascism to people have no idea what that means. I was born in Washington DC during World War II.

My uncle was shot down by the Nazis when he was 20 years old in 1942 it’s hard to believe it only took one generation of lost eyewitnesses for it to take hold here.

America has a structural problem.

When you gerrymander your district and screen out everyone who doesn’t already agree with you, you never have to modify your positions.

You never have to meet anyone in the middle.

You just keep winning by playing to your base.

But imagine if we drew districts that actually reflected the demographics of the area, regardless of party.

Suddenly candidates are in a marketing competition.

They have to appeal to moderates. They have to move toward each other.

The system used to produce that naturally.

Members of Congress used to go to lunch together, socialize, build relationships across the aisle.

The system is now designed to prevent that.
