FL's 5 water management districts are key entities in implementing our comprehensive approach to resilience. At the 2024 Florida Resilience Conference, WMD leaders shared project updates + lessons learned in their efforts to enhance regional flood protection & water supply.
In just 24 hours, nearly 5.5 million gallons of floodwaters have been pumped out of areas in Pasco County experiencing continued riverine flooding due to #Debby impacts.
@FLSERT members continue to quickly deploy response equipment as requested & are here to support all communities on their road to recovery.
Since Hurricane #Debby made landfall the State Emergency Response Team has successfully removed over 625 million gallons of floodwater from impacted counties.
