Ambit Veterinary Pharmacy Celebrates World Rabies Day! 🐶 🩺 💉

Every year on September 28th, we commemorate World Rabies Day, a global campaign to raise awareness about rabies prevention and control. This day also honors Louis Pasteur, the pioneer of the first rabies vaccine. This year’s theme emphasizes collaboration and education in the fight to eliminate rabies, especially in rabies-endemic regions.

This year is especially unique as the world continues to grapple with climate changes. This phenomenon brings wild life which are also potential host of Rabies Virus closer to not just us but also our pets this time more than ever. Extreme weather conditions such as flood , deforestation displaces wildlife increasing our interaction with them.

Now more than ever, we need to raise awareness to end Rabies ✊🏾💪🏾
