@OpenAI What are the best examples of AI arriving at new conjectures or not-previously-posed mathematical problems (as opposed to, very impressively, solving existing ones)?
6 yrs later, I find the question again in a fantastic conversation w @drmichaellevin & Terrence Deacon.
Still wondering: is there a way to measure the morphological interestingness self-organising systems seem to display, from a static representation?

How do you build #maps and directories using #decentralized data? Use the Murmurations Protocol > Version 1 is up and running: https://t.co/8HvLI0zQDc make a profile, and view your data on multiple maps - feedback requested! @xdamman@danbri@TreborS@ntnsndr@SolidarityEcon
@meedabyte@sam5@francescapick @disruptandlearn @RichDecibels @solarpunk_girl Interesting. I'm curious how so. What mechanism do you have in mind that links compensation process with business model?
What are your favorite resources or practices for setting compensation in self-managed teams?
@sam5@francescapick @disruptandlearn @RichDecibels @solarpunk_girl
@solarpunk_girl @sam5@francescapick @disruptandlearn @RichDecibels@Percolab_ In the case I'm looking at it's a team with ongoing roles in an organization, so not project-based, but the minimum and maximum is interesting nevertheless. Danke!
@RichDecibels@sam5@francescapick @disruptandlearn @solarpunk_girl Definitely the meta answer. Working out in the psychological exercise machine of self-management... 💪
@RichDecibels@sam5@francescapick @disruptandlearn @solarpunk_girl Thanks Rich! Great list. Nice to be reacquainted with your Hum cash sharing ninja spreadsheet sorcery as well💯
@disruptandlearn @sam5@francescapick@RichDecibels @solarpunk_girl Awesome, thanks Lisa. I had seen your article once before, but it's good to be reminded of it.
Ignoring general advice against giving general advice, I hereby suggest we each take a few small steps to re-inhabit #democracy from the bottom up and the inside out. To wit, my first Medium article: https://t.co/ijdpHdTmj9
@sdcrosby @amckent@sfiscience@C4COMPUTATION@cognitivepolicy@ComplexitySol@JMateosGarcia @solarpunk_girl In a world of stories told through numbers, the language of measurements has become something that appears "real" & less abstract but perhaps that is only because we contextualize measurements through a culture that longs for numbers to be more certain than other forms of story.
@NoraBateson @sdcrosby @sfiscience@C4COMPUTATION@cognitivepolicy@ComplexitySol@JMateosGarcia @solarpunk_girl Nora, I'm glad you're here :) I didn't tweet this at you, because it's such a cold data question (as I've conceived it). But, your perspective makes me think in other ways about the impetus for the question. Thank you!
@sfiscience @ShayneLaughter @C4COMPUTATION@cognitivepolicy@ComplexitySol@JMateosGarcia @solarpunk_girl @leecronin@Sara_Imari @nataliegref Looking just at the structure of the artifact, can we learn something general about the system it is from? Is there a metric of structure complexity that would let us say "hmm, the system this came from might be interesting..." or "this thing is similar to things that are alive"?
@Duncan_BBR I may be looking for a metric that doesn't exist! But, I'm not looking for a metric of meaning, rather of structural complexity. As you note, meaning probably would not be found in the image itself.
@mhjb Interesting! Alexander comes at this from a completely different angle, but the intent is related. Plus, reminding of his work is almost always a good thing :) Thanks.
