Delighted to announce I’ll be writing for @YouAreMyArsenal this coming season. Made up to have the opportunity and write about my club. Check out my first piece, on Martin Ødegaard’s captaincy below! First foray into sports writing, so let me know your feedback!

🚨 Hi everyone. To celebrate Arsenal’s title win I'll be giving away THREE 'Champions' prints by the brilliant @matthewjiwood to three random winners
- Simply repost this to enter
Winners picked on Saturday.
(If you're not feeling lucky the prints - and loads of others - can be found here: https://t.co/718xYZwECf)
@htomufc my only concern is that he gets too involved in the physical battle sometimes which is the easiest facet of a striker’s game to defend especially considering how physical PL defenders are nowadays. I think with time to build relationships the goals will come
@htomufc I think he’ll come good, Burnley away it seemed like he had finally built some rhythm and in terms of combination play and all round threat that was his best game for Arsenal (Sod’s Law he gets injured) 1/2
@RohanJivanAFC I think we’re gonna see a theme of Arsenal conceding chances due to powerful runners in the middle. Rogers last week, Pedro today, KDB after the break…wonder if we’ll see Kai at 8 more to allow rice to move into 6
@GeorgeV_AFC I guess the club would rather do this so we can attack next summer and go after the marquees in Nico & an MF who move the needle. Sterling is a more than credible RW alternative to Saka with a potentially quite big upside off the left in what is reportedly a pretty low risk deal
Mohamed Elneny: “You’ll be in my heart forever. I wanted to say how much I love you, how much you mean to me & I’ll never forget the way you support me. I’m going to see you on Sunday at Emirates Stadium to say goodbye face-to-face.”
🥺❤️ @ElNennY
@GeorgeV_AFC@mariEscobarPME I largely agree but that would leave us with a Saliba/Gabriel/White/Timber/Kiwior/Hato/Tomiyasu/CCB corps which I fear is missing a dynamic profile that can bend to the system like a (e.g.) Frimpong. I thought instead of Hato they might have looked at that kind of profile
91 points and a green arrow to take my rank to 1631st in the world. Couple of big gameweeks coming with BB37. Confident I can break into triple digits.
Moves I’m currently debating are only really Van Hecke to a Dalot or Burn, but neither would start GW36 so tempted to roll.
@AFCAMDEN It’s a good point as I’m sure Mikel will want Havertz up front against Bayern. I just think BHA (A) is a banana skin, and Kai seems pretty durable (rarely gets injured) - touch wood ofc. I could see Jesus, Havertz, Martinelli though
I agree to an extent, but we also haven’t seen Vieira given the chance in Ødegaard’s position with a full strength lineup. When we did he scored a screamer against Brentford.
@billycarpy@YankeeGunner I had to pick one player to stay fit for the remainder of the season for a piece in The Athletic, and I chose him. We have no replacement who can offer anything like that.
