'My name is Hami Bahadori..
They even put me in front of a camera and told me to declare my will before they hang me, after which they made me film a forced confession. I was interrogated 17 times over a span of 80 days. They were focused on me being a Baha’i.'

Yet another #Bahai who created an educational program for children and is imprisoned for it. When will all our #Iranian compatriots wake up, understand and be a voice for #Bahais as #OurStoryIsOne
On one hand, you deprive Baha'i youth of entering university and the right to education, and on the other hand, you unjustly arrest and imprison those who have acquired artistic and professional skills through personal effort for frivolous reasons.
#NakisaSadeghi is set to be incarcerated in 20 days to serve a 25-month prison sentence. Why?
Nakisa has been charged with "promoting Baha'i Faith through teaching music, even to Muslim children." This is despite the fact that teaching music is Nakisa's means of livelihood, and the parents and children who participated in her classes, mostly online, were unaware of her personal beliefs.
Look into the mirror and ask yourselves: Where has justice
found its place in your equations?
Separating these children from their parents for even one day is torture in itself.. let alone the complete injustice that has been inflicted on this family.

When you are yet to find the opportunity to learn the alphabet, the tyranny of the Islamic Republic comes knocking at your door;
A Baha'i couple, #VesalMomtazi and #AnisaSamiyan, parents to a three-month-old infant and a five-year-old child, have been sentenced to a total of 9 years and 6 months in prison.
This verdict, before being unjust towards this Baha'i couple, is an injustice to the children who are deprived of their fundamental right from the very beginning; the right to be and have a relationship with their parents.
The prison term of Homayoun Khanlari, a #Bahai citizen from Rasht was confirmed by the Gilan Court of Appeal. He had previously been sentenced by the Rasht Revolutionary Court to 2 yrs in prison, deprivation of social rights &payment of a fine.#StopHatePropaganda#OurStoryIsOne

Iranian swimming champion Parham Parvari has started a hunger strike in Tehran's Evin Prison to protest his 15-year prison sentence in connection with anti-state protests.
Parham was sitting in his car peacefully in November 2022 amid street protests when he was suddenly arrested, a source with detailed knowledge of his case told the Center for Human Rights in Iran.
He wasn't protesting or committing any crime, according to the source, who thought Parham was arrested because his license plate said he was from the city of Saqqez, where major protests erupted in September after the killing in state custody of local resident Mahsa Jina Amini, after she was arrested for her hijab.

#AfifNaimi: "The greatest deprivation for us Baha'is is being denied the right to serve our homeland. It is more distressing than anything else."
10yrs in the prisons of the Islamic Republic already endured, now another 7yr sentence + additional punishments has been confirmed.
Sina Naimi, the son of #AfifNaimi, who is currently imprisoned for being a Baha'i:
"They asked my father, "What do you Baha'is want, and what is your greatest deprivation?" My father replied, "The greatest deprivation for us Baha'is is being denied the right to serve our homeland. It is more distressing than anything else."
Sina continued:
"Of course, we have endured numerous deprivations, making it difficult to choose among them. But today, I have also come to understand my father's words. Perhaps the most difficult aspect is when you eagerly want to do something good for your country and contribute wholeheartedly, yet you are not granted permission to do so. It is incredibly painful."
The seven-year prison sentence of Afif Naimi, along with additional punishments, was confirmed while he had been in detention since April 29, 2023. Prior to this, he had already spent 10 years of his life in prisons of the Islamic Republic, while suffering from serious heart problems.
Sina described the reason for his father's arrest on his Twitter account as follows:
"What is my father being accused of? He is being accused of starting a girls' elementary school at the request of one of his previous fellow-prisoners. What does that mean? It means that he was asked by someone he knew, who said, 'I want to initiate this cultural project, but I cannot do it on my own. Can you help me?' My father, out of trust, friendship, and the fact that the intended project was a cultural one, agreed. However, because he knew that if the friends (here he means the government officials) saw him at that school, they would misconstrue it due to their delusional conspiracy theories, he never set foot there. So, what happened in the end? They arrested my father, accusing him of attempting to infiltrate through children!"
