Closed to million of protesters have taken to the streets in Kohat, Pakistan, demanding the release of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who has been jailed since 2023.
Imran Khan’s supporters have begun a march to Islamabad to demand his release from jail after efforts by the Pakistani government to halt the protest failed. https://t.co/VaYdTT2NPo
Three years ago today I wrote: We the people of Iran know very well who is behind this assault.
Nothing has changed. The regime that armed Hamas still sends drones to Putin and money to Hezbollah. Terrorists are still united.
The question is, are democracies?
Do not be silent. Share this for the victims of October 7 and for the Iranian people who have been executed for the crime of fighting against the biggest sponsor of terrorism.
🚨 Secretary General of the UN @antonioguterres Please MEET IMRAN KHAN whilst you are in Pakistan. If not you, then who?
In March 2024, the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention found former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s detention arbitrary and called for his immediate release.
In October 2024, the UN Special Rapporteur on the independence of judges and lawyers raised concerns over the 26th Constitutional Amendment and its implications for judicial independence and fair trials.
In March 2025 that same UN mandate intervened in the conviction of more than 100 civilians in military courts after the May 9th 2023 political protests in Pakistan.
In November 2025, the UN raised further serious concerns over the 27th Constitutional Amendment and again impact on judicial independence, human rights and fair trials.
Then, in December 2025 the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture intervened specifically in the case of Imran Khan regarding the period of his solitary confinement and detention conditions falling below international standards of humane and dignified treatment.
In May 2026, the UN Committee Against Torture specifically named Imran Khan and his wife and called on Pakistan to review the situation of people detained on political grounds and for their urgent medical care.
Secretary General, respectfully these are not our findings. These are the findings and concerns of your own United Nations. Please act on your findings immediately. Imran Khan's life is in imminent danger. If not you, then who?
Thank you @SabreenaDTRT for urging UNSG @antonioguterres to seek access to Imran Khan and call for his release, consistent with UN human rights findings. Engaging an illegitimate regime while staying silent on IK would leave a lasting stain on the Secretary-General's legacy.
🚨“Iran must immediately halt its abhorrent use of the death penalty.”
Joint statement by 46 states, read by Liechtenstein at the UNHRC.
A sharp rise in executions and death sentences, especially in protest cases.
Would statements be enough?

Another morning, another gallows in Iran.💔
The Islamic Republic executed Ali Hemmati Sistani and Majid Nikandish at dawn today in Mashhad. Majid was just 25 years old. Ali was married and a father of two. Both were arrested during the January 2026 protests and sentenced to death on charges of moharebeh, which means “waging war against God.”
Yes, in 21st-century some believe they are the representative of God on the Earth and they can end our lives in our country.
Now Di you understand why we the people of Iran were frustrated to see some leaders in the West, shaking the hands of our executives?
Dear @JJansaSDS Thank you for your courage and for speaking out about the political prisoners who are being executed every day in Iran by this bloodthirsty regime!
We will never forget those who stood by us during our darkest days and became our voice.

NEW— Slovenian PM @JJansaSDS told Fox News on the sidelines of UNGA that the UN applies a double standard on Iran, and that regime change in Iran is key to lasting peace in the Middle East.
Finally a European leader who names the real problem: the Islamist regime occupying Iran.
Dear Prime Minister Janez, thank you for being a steadfast supporter of the Iranian Resistance and @Maryam_Rajavi. Your support for the Iranian people and their aspirations for a free and democratic Iran is deeply appreciated. #NCRIAlternative
Vse priznanje!
