Canada is a peaceful county and up until recently (Trump/annexation) we had no legitimate threats.

Interestingly the USA trades more with China than Canada does yet you consider it a threat when Canada trades with China .

For instance the Hurricanes had 10 Canadians on their 2025/26 playoff roster.

NHL has players from all over including Europe.

It’s an international sport.

To date this diary quota has never been met/breached.

Canada has a harmonized ( federal/provincial) sales tax (consumption tax) collected by the Canada Revenue Agency CRA which has nothing to do with Trade agreements.
