Following intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED. Both sides have declared the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon.

The official signing ceremony will be on Friday, 19 June in Switzerland.

We would like to thank the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our brothers in this mediation effort, the great leadership of State of Qatar, for their support in reaching this agreement. I would also especially thank the visionary leadership of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Republic of Türkiye for their immense contributions in this regard.

With the agreement now in place, mediators will facilitate a series of meetings this week. These pre-implementation discussions will lay the foundation for the technical talks and the official signing ceremony.

میری @AbsarAlamHaider سے پہلی ملاقات 1995 میں ہوئی۔ بعد میں ایک پیشہ ورانہ تعلق رہا۔ اس کے بعد مختلف شعبوں میں چلے جانے کی وجہ سے رابطہ محدود رہا۔ لیکن ابصار صاحب کے احوال سے بے خبر نہیں رہا۔ یہ گواہی ضروری سمجھتا ہوں کہ میں نے ابصار عالم کو ہمیشہ دیانت دار اور راست باز پایا۔

میرا موقف ہے کہ
۱- جرنلسٹ سب سے سوال پوچھتے ہیں، رسیدیں مانگتے ہیں تو اُنہیں خود بھی جوابدہ ہونا چاہئے، رسیدیں پیش کرنی چاہئے۔ اس لئے میں نے پیش کیں۔
۲- میں دوسروں کے ذرائع آمدن، جائیداد اور اثاثوں پر تبھی سوال اُٹھا سکتا ہوں جب اپنے ذرائع آمدن کلئیر ہوں۔
۳- اینکر ہونے کی وجہ سے میرا عام شہری سے زیادہ کوئی سپیشل استحقاق نہیں۔

Violations of ceasefire have been reported at few places across the conflict zone which undermine the spirit of peace process. I earnestly and sincerely urge all parties to exercise restraint and respect the ceasefire for two weeks, as agreed upon, so that diplomacy can take a lead role towards peaceful settlement of the conflict.

چیف جسٹس یحییٰ آفریدی کے حکم کے عین مطابق چار ماہ کے اندر فیصلہ کرتے ہوئے پاکستان کی عدلیہ نے اپوزیشن کی سب سے بڑی جماعت پاکستان تحریکِ انصاف کے سو سے زائد کارکنوں اور قائدین کو دس دس سال تک کی سزائیں سنا دیں، قومی اسمبلی، سینٹ اور پنجاب اسمبلی میں تین عام لیڈر آف اپوزیشن کو دس دس سال سزا اور رکنیت سے نا اہلی۔ پی ٹی آئی کے ساتھ ۲ مئی ہو گیا، آج ۳۱ جولائی ۲۰۰۹ کے دن سپریم کورٹ نے جنرل مشرف کے ۳ نومبر کے فرمان کو آئین سے غداری کے مترادف قرار دیا تھا اور اسی بنیاد پر مشرف کو سزائے موت سنائی گئی۔ آج اسٹیبلشمنٹ نے سیاست، سیاسی جماعتوں اور سیاستدانوں سے ۳۱ جولائی کا بدلہ بھی لے لیا۔ ستم ظریفی دیکھیں کہ عمران خان نے ۲۰۱۸ میں حکومت میں آنے کے بعد اُسی جنرل مشرف کو بچانے کے لئیے مشرف کے وکلا فروغ نسیم اور انور منصور کو وزیرِ قانون اور اٹارنی جنرل بنایا جنھوں نے بطور سرکار مشرف کو سزا دلوانے کی بجائے اُسے معصوم قرار دینے کی کوشش کی اور اُسکی سزائے موت کیخلاف پریس کانفرنس میں جسٹس وقار کا دماغی معائنہ اور انکے خلاف ریفرنس دائر کرنے کا اعلان کیا۔ آج ۳۱ جولائی کو پی ٹی آئی کیساتھ نا انصافی مگر مکافاتِ عمل ہو گیا
