Judging the future of Islamic civilization by Gaza is like judging the future of the West by Haiti. Gaza is a tiny fraction of the Muslim world. Ironically, it’s become a catalyst for greater Muslim political organization (Mamdani), stronger Sunni strategic coordination (Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Egypt), and a renewed shared identity. Add the world’s youngest demographics and vast natural resources, and the next 50 years won’t look like the last 50.
