@CTGLA Saw Secret Garden last week (previews) and last night. On Thursday, the show was captioned but last night it wasnβt. If you have the technology, why not provide access for every showing? #captionplease#theater
@HeyListenGames My planner is everything. I buy @passion_planner and this year, I went digital and use their planner on my iPad. Game changer. Everything I need is there and itβs always with me (it even syncs to my phone using @GoodNotesApp). I canβt function without one.
@42answrqstion Iβm much less concerned for ME now that my family and I have had Covid. I feel like my chances of getting it again are slim (but of course not impossible). I am worried for colleagues and students who havenβt had it yet. I feel like we arenβt doing all we can to protect them.
Itβs a bummer that this is yet another year of our post-#SuperBowl access lesson. Wish I could teach it as history instead of current events. THREE Deaf performers hired and none shown for the entirety on the big screen. A separate website is not #access. #ASL#VisualLanguage
@SheenaMcfeely@signingmango Yes! Absolutely!! When we make things accessible, everyone benefits! Iβll send you a message and we can coordinate. β€οΈ
@SheenaMcfeely@signingmango Thatβs terrible. π₯ I have a few high school ASL students researching about how to make drive-throughs more accessible with the intent to make a real change. Do you think sheβd be willing to correspond with them? Could encourage her to keep sharing her truths!
Teachers, take the time to pause and listen. To me, cello is one of the most beautiful sounds, only exceeded when @YoYo_Ma plays it. Thank you for sharing your talents with us during such a stressful time. β€οΈ
